I had that debate last year with a graphite chassis, mostly they said not to, but if it's a used chassis to have at it

I'm self proclaimed. And its an incorrect proclamation!mrlexan wrote:I didn't know the forum had gods that answer questions when asked.
Re: TQ10 chassis
I would say it depends on the condition. If its beat to hell go for it. If its in good/great shape I wouldn't. They are much more rare than a regular graphite. Its also easy to restore these chassis to almost new due to the non woven graphite.
Got any pics?

Re: TQ10 chassis
its yours, do what you want and dont worry about what some people here think about it.
back in the day, if you had a tq10 chassis there is no doubt most of us would have drilled that thing out for a stealth...

Re: TQ10 chassis
if its a real beat chassis who cares, but if is nice no drill !!! i say never drill .. be happy with the lesser holes there are plenty of holy chassis out there... i usually always try to tell people stop the drilling but if you do please use the template.. i see alot of "off" stealth trannys when drilled... id be more for drilling a metal chassis but do what makes you happy ... im sure it will be a blast to drive any trans in it ...

Re: TQ10 chassis
Well the deed's done, what da heck did both TQ and another glass chassis, I didn't have a template but had a cut off tail from a mangled chassis and my mockup chassis and sandwiched the chassis in between them using the 8/32 holes. beveled the holes KaBoom done. thanks for the input guys, sometimes ya just gotta ask. Johnny OYeah now I can put Jakes goodies on
