Sweet pics of RC10 Hybrids!

Post by scollins »

Hi guys,
Finally got all the radio gear installed in my silly RC10/Tamiya hybrids.... I had a great time driving these - the look of the Tamiya buggies with serious performance underneath!!!! They ran flawless and handled really nice, especially the shortened RC10 under the beetle shell! "Stealth" Grasshopper had an old Twister motor in it- it hauled ass!!!!

May put RC10 front end on the Grasshopper later, but for now I like the goofy tamiya a-arms up front, lol...scollins 8) 8) 8)

love the classic stance of the positive camber that the hopper has jumping. Seems like every jumping pic from the old days of hoppers look like that..

Your pics make me want to go home early today (which will make my wife happy) and drive something (which will not please her so much).

I wish our dog was remote controled...

Oh, those are too cool. I'm working on a bug kinda like that. Well, I have been for a year now, lol. How about some under the hood pics as well, so we can see what you've been up to. Those are awesome. 8)

Hey, thanks for the thumbs up!

Here are links of the best "under the hood" shots I have so far, they were posted on different threads before on this site, and below is a pic from TamiyaClub-

Thanks, in part I have to thank you, as you sold me the 6.8 rear end kit which I used on the S.Scorcher clone.

Did you get your JPS wheels you ordered for yourself and Matt yet?? I placed an order 5 or 6 weeks ago and I am still waiting- he got paid by me the same day I ordered, but it would have been nice if he warned me it would take so long to get an order placed. Common sense, right?

Im statring to get a little impatient with waiting, but there is other stuff I can work on in the meantime :x
