Are there aftermarket complete screw sets for Turbo Optima?
It occurred to me that I could probably build a complete Turbo Optima (maybe even 2) with all the spare parts I have. The only things I'd be questionable on are all the various screws, nuts & bolts, and a set of shocks. Are there any aftermarket companies making complete screw sets for Kyosho kits like the Turbo Optima?

I used a set of RC Screwz on my rebuild. People love them or hate them. I had no problems.

How complete was that set? I saw one on eBay for an Ultima, but haven't yet found one for the Optima. Why would people hate them?RichieRich wrote:I used a set of RC Screwz on my rebuild. People love them or hate them. I had no problems.
EDIT: I just checked out their site (for anyone else's reference, it's the link below); the sets seem pretty complete and the stainless steel is apparently better than the stock metal.

Re: Are there aftermarket complete screw sets for Turbo Opti
Thanks jaycal, but I picked up 2 sets from RCScrewz for me and my buddy. I phoned them up and they ended up being only about $18 per set, and they're a complete screw set for the Optima. I don't think the Car Aids set is complete. And, there's a guy on eBay selling a full screw set by Kyosho for $90.jaycal wrote:Here's one, they pop up on ebay once in a while

Re: Are there aftermarket complete screw sets for Turbo Opti
I used a RC Screwz set with my Ultima restoration and they were fine. Just get a nice set of full size individual allen wrenches - makes it so much nicer.
