Sheets of Graphite
Does anyone know of a place where I can buy sheets of graphite that have a bend to the like a "nose". As if i was making my own graphite buggy

Re: Sheets of Graphite
Hey bud, I think a couple of guys have tried to get a group buy going: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=15982&start=0&hilit=graphite+kickup+chassis
But your best bet is to just go ahead and tried to locate one on Ebay or on here.

Re: Sheets of Graphite
Is there a market you think for repro chassis. Say a new carbon fibre JRX2 chassis or RC10. Would not necessarily match finish of original but would be strong, light and new and you would not have to worry about destroying a vintage item.
I'd think someone with some fiberglassing experience could make, it is more time consuming than anything else.

try to make it as general purpose as you can: give a bend at either end with for example 20° and 30°, make sure the nose piece is tall enough for jx2, ultima, rc10, TRX1 and others, don't pre-drill holes...

Re: Sheets of Graphite
That was my thinking exactly. Most people that would be interested will have saws, dremels and drills etc if they could just get the piece with a kickup. I was thinking 20 degree first for selfish JRX2 reasons.
