I am new to this forum but not new to RC as I had an RC10 in 85-86 and still do it today! i purchased an RC10 from a guy in New York(still waiting for it in the mail) and he said it is from 1984 and has been in his basement for 20+ years. The car showed a little wear but the chassis has zero scratches on it so I asked him if it had a new chassis on it and he said it was all original. Unfortunately i found this site and the post that goes through all the generations of the RC10 after i bought it. i was hoping someone could help me date this car. The box indicates its 1984ish but i cant see the address on the box but it has the blue stamp that says "speed control not included", The chassis indicates it may be of a later date since it has the darker anodizing on it, the ball ends appear to be the older version, the gear dust cover looks like its the later version, and the shock cap seals appear to be the later version as they stick out from the shock cap.
Nice car, not a scratch on it. Can't tell you the date, but it's definately an early bird.
Oh, in photobucket, each photo has a list of links you can copy and paste. You want to select the one that says image. Copy that and put it into the post....
Ooops sorry about that, once before i got a response on something else saying they could only see one photo i guess thats why, it will be up in a minute, thanks!!
That might be what tells the whole story but i cant see the address from the photo its to far away. i will have to verify that once i get it. It does have the early ORRCA National Champion on the box which indicates its an early Cadillac if the address is Cadillac.
Well that might be a real late Edinger box with paper labels. Check the address on the AE motor when you receive it.
Nice car - must be late Edinger day on 10talk
Looked at the pics again and it looks like it is a Caddy by the box address - early Cadillac RC10 - Reg is right again

Just wanted to share the recent body set i completed for my RC10 B6.4d. I had the idea to paint a similar livery as a homage the OG RC10 box art. Below are some photos of my original RC10 and the B6.
