rc10 mip cvd size?

i was wondering what size that axles r on the mip cvds for the rc10 buggy r they 1/4 or 3/16? the reason im asking if because i want to put 2.2 b2 wheels on my rc10 and i wanted a cvd setup.

The RC10 MIP CVD (MIP1007) have a 3/16 size axle

Has anyone tried using the MIP CVD bones for a vintage RC10 with the B4 style cvd axle shafts to use modern B4 hex wheels? You could even use the T4 hex's to make it a little wider if you desired. Thought i'd throw this out there to see if anyone...

Are the MIP shiny cvd bones the same as the regular bones except for the finish or is there supposed to be a performance advantage?

There is the standard shiny ones, which I believe is nothing more than the finish. Then there is the shiny aluminum ones, which are obviously different.

this has probably been answered a million times before. i want to change the 1/4 rear axles to 3/16 and i want to install a mip cvd but what do i need to buy? or do they still make them for the old gold pan rc10 buggy? and later on i would like to...

well i am in the middle of building a dirt oval racer. i have it all stripped down and my b chassis will be here next week as well as my bearings, and the dirt oval conversion kit. i plan on racing it as soon as i get it back going. i hope it will...

about what year vintage are the yellow packaged MIP CVD's for RC-10. Would they be period corretc for a Team Car?

Yes, they would be period correct. The CVD's came out somewhere between '92-'93 I believe.

hello guys I have a 91 team car with universal axel shafts. I bought some 1195 mip cvds thinking they will work. my uds have 3/16 shafts for the wheel but neck up to 1/4 for the bearing. Can I just replace the hub bearings to fit the 3/16 mip cvds....

Anyone know of one that is 2.5 ? I am doing a build that uses a associated stealth transmission and I need the CVD to be 2.5 . I have a CustomWorks that is 2.75 and a Associated RC10/B2/B3 that is just a tic over 2.25 E2E.

a b4 cvd might just be about right. I think they are about 1/4 longer than the rc10/b2/b3
