Where can I find purple silicone wire?

Post by jacsac »

I have been looking for purple 14ga silicone wire but have only found one guy on ebay and he sells it for $4 a foot. Anybody know a source that has it in rolls at a reasonable price?

I looked pretty extensively for you and this is the only thing I could find: http://www.gravesrc.com/GENERAL_SILICONE_14GA_SILICONE_WIRE_3_FT_PURPLE_p/gscw143pr.htm Its around the same price as that eBay sellers but at least you get 3' for the price.

Dude, you are the man! I appreciate the your effort. $1.66 a foot is much more reasonable than $4 a foot.

Glad I could help. :)
I was pretty bored so it gave me something to do. What surprised me was just how nonexistent it is. An R/C company called GS Racing is the manufacturer of the wire in the link I posted.

IIRC, most the GS stuff was on bulk spools you could buy from the LHS. Come to think of it, my LHS may be some purple on a spool in the back. I know they have neon pink...
