Is anyone making this event??

It's been kind of disappointing that this event hasn't gotten quite the buzz as the previous VONATs....Honestly this event has been one of my favorite events, and I look forward to it every year. I just hope that some...

This buggy I plan on running in the Classic class. Pretty much a bone stock Falcon with the exception of Losi springs and HPI superstar wheels and J concepts tires. Same combo I ran on the Frog.

More pics as I get her finished up as well.

In an effort to use what ever parts I had to build a VONATs entry and this is what I came up with.

RC10 Graphite chassis
RC10 Aluminum Nose plate
B44 rear axles
B44 shocks
B4 rear hubs
B44 Battery holder

Yes, they're B44.1 cradles, the center piece would not fit in the center, the packs fit really snug in there, if anything I'll just use a battery foam in there.... :mrgreen:

I might go back to using a gold pan instead, for the rigidity factor... :D

Decided to run the Sand Scorcher at the VONATS this year instead of the Pajero. It is going to be mostly stock, except for the VW Bug body from Mr.Lexan, and the handout motor at the race.

T4 slipper assembly
2.19:1 retro fit tranny
Losi steel dogbones
RPM esc tray
Associated turnbuckles
Losi bearing steering rack
Losi LXT spindles and hubs...

Hi, im setting up an Avante 2011 for the local track. Its an astro turf / concrete mix.

I have installed the egress re-release ball diffs and centre torque splitter with one way. Im currently working on instaling egress style front and rear arm set...

The CA vapor results in some residue on the carbon fiber parts. I've had that happen many times.

I'd recommend that you do yourself a favor and ditch that sensorless motor. Get a proper sensored motor for this car. Turnigy makes some great motors...
