MMV Challenger BUILD Mindwarp
Ok, here's my official start to my MMV Build thread.
Not much to show for now, just a pile of parts and an unfortunately cut gold pan.
I'm looking over my parts bin for inspiration.

Yup! But I do want to slim down the front so I need to get some slimmer Hole Shots up there.

Laid down shocks. This should be interesting.

Correct! I have the front pretty much figured out, the rear though will be a head scratcher.fredswain wrote:Laid down shocks. This should be interesting.

Re: MMV Challenger BUILD Mindwarp
you could just lay down the front and make it a ifs car like all the tamiya cars are becoming.

I imagine the front will be done very similar to the old Schumacher Top Cat. As for the rear perhaps the shocks could lay down above the battery?

Re: MMV Challenger BUILD Mindwarp
Are those 1/16 revo rockers? I was thinking of getting some for carpet kitty. They look the proper size and geometry. I will be paying attention to this for sure.
I have a strange obsession with lay down suspension. It is just different to everything else out there.

Re: MMV Challenger BUILD Mindwarp
For the front, I plan on doing them Revo style, in fact the rockers are from a 1/16 Revo. I'm not normally a big Traxxas fan but they do have the right parts for the job I need done.
For the rear, I'm thinking going flat as well but somehow coming in through the rear chassis.
