Losi lxt build
Losi lxt build
i hope this build comes out good. its my first so wish me luck
this is my chassis
and this is my chassis after i was done with it
i used heavy duty water resistant carbon fiber vinyl. i got it off the bay. if u wanna know the guys account name then just ask.
i will be building the rest of it throughout the next few days. its going to be a runner so nothing too fancy but it will still be nice
Tell me what you think.

Re: Losi lxt build
Very nice I've never seen this method used on a molded chassis, I look forward to seeing the top when you've completed it

Re: Losi lxt build
i have made some more progress.....
carbon fibered the front shock tower
carbon fibered the front bumper
carbon fibered the X brace
then i ran into these pesky allen screws
does anyone know what size allen i need to get these out because i cant seem to get them out.
anyway after i get past those screws i will finish cleaning everything then the start the assembely.
i have the original body for it that was already painted but i am thinking of getting a new one. how are those blue groove bodies???

Re: Losi lxt build
okay so i buckled down and did a whole lot of work on the lxt so here it is...
my carbon fiber x brace
carbon fiber front shock tower
carbon fiber rear shock tower
the sexy chassis
front bumper
crappy esc i am going to get a new system
Old naturals sticker that was on the top of the chassis
sooo i am not completely done. i am still waiting on my gold screws nuts and shock oil then i will be done.
i guess its not the prettiest but it is still very good for my first build IMO.

I like it, you did a great job fixing up a nice runner. and I like the fact you just didnt rebuild the whole car with nip parts. Good Job!

Something disky and yellowey, I'm pretty sure XXT wheels will fit and there are quite a few after market ones available, but hey that's just me I like the standard look.
