Losi LXT
Here's my Losi LXT, I got this truck in a R/C lot along with an RC10T.
It was banged up pretty bad and the chassis was Lightened(drilled out), it was dirty and grimmy and rusty, Yuk what a mess, but I restored it, and it looks very nice now
I bought a chassis from Daceoli which looks new, no scratches at all, along with the red steering system, Added a Dams Ford SUV body, some HPI geolanders mounted on Proline Velocity wheels a new set of Trinity Purple screw set, regreased the tranny, and she's just like new.
It has RPM front bulkhead, front chassis brace, front arms, and rear arm mount.
On to the PIcs:

Re: Losi LXT
Nice looking truck.
But I’m confused about the chassis. My LXT/Pro SE stuff doesn’t have the double rib on the side, with the spot for the 5 link mounting.
I can’t tell for sure, it appears to have locations for the double wheelbase option, but it looks like the holes are not really there. Interchangeable mold pins I suspect? But I don’t see the extra hole for the motor guard.
Is it a Junior chassis?

Re: Losi LXT
yep, jr2 or t chassis, you can always drill it out if you really wanted too. It seems to have a drilling template built in
Good looking truck

Re: Losi LXT
Actually it is not a Pro SE chassis, it is a J2/JT chassis. The Pro SE doesn't have the mounts for the 5 link on either side of the chassis as does the one which is pictured.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Re: Losi LXT
Hmm that's weird because when I posted the link to the ebay link to this truck everyone said it was an LXT, the original chassis that I got with the truck, was exactly like this, only holed/lightened up, when I asked if the Pro SE chassis was the same as the LXT everyone said it was, so I bought this chassis from Daceoli which listed it as a JRX pro se chassis, so someone's lying to me , it's still looks killer right
I took a pic and posted it on the first page of this thread: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6573 that's the LXT chassis that came with this truck

Re: Losi LXT
i'm no losi expert, so bare with me......................
i'm pretty sure the lxt proformance kit came out before the actual lxt kit did, correct? so, is it possible (or maybe someone knows for sure) that they used the jr-2/t chassis in the proformance kit? if so, having an lxt with a jr-2/t chassis wouldn't be incorrect.

I have to disagree the LXT uses the long wheel base kit the Junior two doesnt have the holes for that kit. the Pro se uses the shorter chassis that might be possible.

Re: Losi LXT
So what's the verdict?? Do I have a JrT/LXT hybrid, JRX Pro SE hybrid, or just a nice looking truck with an Identity problem??
The Retrofit tranny fit perfectly on that chassis, and the body also fits pefectly on the chassis also.
All of you are 100% correct 50% of the time

Re: Losi LXT
You have a LXT with the wrong chassis it has the correct arms and slipper clutch. but its still a very nice Truck. I would say the LXT Junior T Hybred is pretty correct.tecnica2001 wrote:So what's the verdict?? Do I have a JrT/LXT hybrid, JRX Pro SE hybrid, or just a nice looking truck with an Identity problem??

Re: Losi LXT
First of all sorry for starting a ruckus over the chassis. You had already noted several non LXT items, I was only trying to add my experience. (This might be a bad time to mention the captured ball ends and spring colors! Nit picking foul. I don't see anything else that hasn't been mentioned.)
The LXT conversion kit did come out before the full LXT kit, I even got mine early through a team driver scam. Mine has the Slim Line A-4051 chassis, the same as my Pro SE. Like bearrickster’s picture and the drilled one on your first thread you mentioned. Doesn’t have the side indentations and mounting spaces for the trailing link mount for the 5 link setup, its a little narrower.
Maybe not original, but as far as performance goes it’s no biggy as far as I know. The Pro SE was in many ways the race version of the Junior 2, the molded chassis and the shorter shocks. Because we were finding out it worked better than the woven graphite. As you have seen, they are very similar chassis.
Cheers!

Re: Losi LXT
Correct or not its a fine Truck it should run just fine and unless you are building or running a box stock class it doesnt matter. I have bought two Prose's that some one cut the sides off of a Junior chassis just like that one. and sold them as SE's you couldnt tell and they ran just the same I have a Junior two I like it just as much as my se. dont sweat it . I wouldnt care if it was mine?
