Help Identifying The Model of this Tekin Dinosaur

Why the heck does it have this Tekin sticker on it? The sticker is clear with black lettering, no sign of any old labels or stickers underneath. Is the label in the one you posted a sticker?

ya, it's a decal. the one on yours probably got screwed up at some point in time and someone just slapped that one on it.

It also says "Tekin Electronics" on the wires

I have one in my JRX-Pro. The brakes are horrible. I will be replacing it as soon as I can. Good for a shelfer but not much else.

LOL! Its a 30-year old primitive electronic speed controller from the days when most people were using ceramic resistors and wiper arms! Of course it doesn't work like you would want it to.

You make it sound like I am trying to make the A main with it. I was running up and down the street and it took 25 feet to stop. No joke! Forward was fine.

Certainly, no offense intended... you were just complaining about a 30-year old piece of electronics like it was current tech. I hate my VCR because it can't do HD and my pager because it can't send texts.


Just remember that when that Tekin ESC was high tech and cutting edge, modified motors produced less power than the current Novak VTA spec 25.5 brushless motors.

No, no, you use the retaining wall, fence and curb.

Yeah, the concensus of those I 'run' with seems that they use the person in front to help them thru the turn.
