Purchased this on eBay, I'm thinking I'll probably strip it and use the shocks on my Yokomo Works 91 rebuild (when I get round to it!)
Came with a radio, nice retro charger, old Tekin Speedo, Schumacher 'Gold Rush' motor, and a few sets of wheels!

Eh it doesn't look too bad to me, I've seen much worse. I'm guessing you know the shocks are pretty rare
I'd fix it up and run it

What makes those so rare? Only ask as I have a set on a similar condition B3 that I just purchased.
Fix it up sheriff, that's what I'm planning to do with mine!

Maybe I'm wrong but the front shocks appear to be the longer gold .89's not the shorter .71's.

Thanks for comments. Teman and Peetbee, I probably will do it up now, the Yokomo is on eBay, so I'll eventually get the parts I need and get the B3 running
Lowrydesign, the charger is the Orion one, in the picture

It is showing two chargers on the box, if I am wrong I apologize in advance.

Lowrydesign, it's the one on the right of the picture on box!

Those shocks are rare but they are the B2 shocks, as mine were the same. Great car and wont take long to get the bits and do a rebuild.

those shocks shouldn't be too rare, they are just .89 gold fronts, 1.32" rears, top loaders.....

Hope I didn't bid against anyone here, but I just had to have this.
Looks like all its missing are transmission case halfs, 1 drive ring, thrust bearing pieces and hydra drive pieces.
The body was cut out roughly so I will have to pick up...

Just arrived. Nicer than I even hoped. I'm chasing a childhood want that I never got then. 8) Got a few others on the way to make runners out of. I'm scared to even take this one apart

Well gold shocks fitted, not much else, still need to find some wide offset wheels....
I'll keep looking!
Here's a lead on some wheels...JC Racing used to have at least 2 or 3 different kinds of wheels with 12mm hex hubs that would work with Kyosho...

I wanted to build a 6 gear runner and ran across this. It was $85 buy now. I'm not sure what chassis that is. (composite craft?) But it has a lot of custom parts on it. All titanuim. Turnbuckles, ball studs and TIN hinge pins, light speed heat sink,...

Managed to grab this XXX-NT AD2 on eBay recently. It was complete except for the front chassis brace. The engine is an OS Max 12 TZ. Here are some pictures of what it looked like when it arrived.

Does anyone know of any modern axle conversion methods for the AD2? I've found some that use the XXX-SCT parts but those are hard to find now as well. I'm just beginning my research now but figured I'd post here to see if anyone has ideas or has had...
