Tekin small red and black wire?

Post by slotcarrod »

I need your help! I have an older Tekin, not sure what it is but it says Pro Tempfet ESC on the label! Anyway I am putting it in a 4 cell RC12L and can't remember if I solder the tiny red and black wires together for 4 cell use, or not?

Yes, you have to join these two tiny wires for 4-cell use!

Just looked it up in the manual.

"4 Cell Option; run a jumper wire from the black switch wire to the red receiver wire in order to bypass the regulator. Do not connect to more than 4 cells after doing this. This modification is required for proper 4 cell operation"

That's perfect information! Thanks guys!

I didn't know Tekin had an archive, that may come in handy later as well! 8)
