I am not sure - but Yes - Bluegroove have used Marks cars (and others) as "demonstration" bodies before. In fact several of the body re-poppers use bodies from enthusiasts. Nothing new there.

hahahahahaha

Thanks Daza.

Yep you are 100% right on TBG. I posted Jon the pic just after I did this post.

He loved it so has decided to use it as a display of a painted up TBG Cat XL shell.

You are also right about other pics of my cars and more are to come.

Sorry guys no pics of her naked yet. Will do once electrics are in. Yes Carbon upper & Lower Chassis.

I have some really freaky and prototype stuff for C.A.T's that I have to get around to photographing some day.

You have a nice car there mark. As much as I like the Long Wheelbase C.A.T - I have a real soft spot for the SWB...........it was a handfull - but if the grip was up - it was very "chuckable" around the track. I sold my LWB that I used at the last festival - will have to build another, they are a fun car for sure.

Cheers

I remember rebuilding and building up this car that was once James's (along with his blinged up Procat). More Procat than Cat the carbon fibre chassis had been hand made many years ago. Infact it was a Procat chassis that I had to cut down myself to allow the use of a Cat undertray (Procat chassis are too wide for Cat undertrays).
Rear suspension is Procat, front upper arms are Bosscat and from memory the layshaft setup was also Procat. Essentialy the car was built almost as a Procat but to allow fitment of Cat lexan and also adding a CAT front bumper. The front one ways were also removed and replaced with solid slider shafts. Definately nothing about this car is XL specs.

Those motor/gearbox side plates really are neat though. Obviously custom made.

This pic was taken before I cut the chassis width down.

Thanks Gary.

Try Panda GFX minimini . That's where mine came from. It was his last one i think.

Willy is a top guy so send him a question to see if he can do a set.

I was very lucky as i wanted to do a Masami worlds paint job for yrs and only have
just manage to get my painting skills up enough to do one.
