I know these aren't the typical buggies we all love, but like me, I'd bet most of you are car guys, or you probably wouldn't be in this hobby. Recently I have had the desire to combine my two hobbies a bit so I went on a hunt for a way to do that. I ended up finding both of these cars last year. Unfortunately, the all-important "hemi" was missing from the Vette kit. Not wanting to pay $75 on ebay I went scouring around the internet for an alternative which led me to the Muscle Machines 1/18 scale series of diecast toys. They all have hugely outsized motors which looked like they would fill the bill. Looking at them closely though I realized that most of them only had the "top" of the motor poking out of the hood but I found a hoodless '32 roadster with a full hemi motor. These motors actually are pretty close to 1/10 scale and I think with the proper detailing it will look perfect in the bay of the Vette. I bought a new body kit, still available from Parma, for the 32.
(In fact, you can almost build a complete 32 from spares they still have. Not so much on the Vette. It appears to be fairly scarce.)
I particularly love these two cars because of their scale looks, unlike many of Parma's offeings in bodies. Now to find a "37 Chevy Pro Street and the older version of the '32!

Enjoy the pictures!
