Flexing for a few hours today

Post by vintage AE »

I had a few hours to myself today, so I took my wife's stock tacoma to a spot where I could take my Axial Wraith hill climbing. This spot is intended for motorbikes and atvs, I think, but there was a gate at the entrance stating no atvs, lol. The property actually belongs to Nova Scotia Power, but as you can see it's been long used as a local off road playground. There are even tight truck trails at the top. I had to use 4wd to climb a smaller hill that lead around the gate, which was little problem for the stock tacoma.

Here are some photos of me flexing the suspension on the way to the hill. Not so much flexing, but a full on stretch lol.

I have never actually been here before and from the highway the hill looks sandier than it is. Got everything ready for some formula off road, but there wasn't enought sand for the paddle tires

Made it up no problem. Sorry there is no Go Pro video. I had everything charged, but didn't think to charge the camera :(

Here are some flex shots of the Wraith on the way down.

Next time I will make sure I have the Go Pro charged too :)

She knows, but haven't seen the photos

I figured I would probably have to answer some questions if I would have hit some of those big puddles.

This is just down the highway from where we live. I cant find too many places to go off road, but this seems to be a popular spot in the summer.

Nice spot! Anytime my wife and I are driving around I'm always on the lookout for the next sweet bashing spot. This is a pretty good area for it. When I see a good one I always comment what a nice spot it would be. Her statement is always the same. "Then go get one and take it there. You never even run those stupid things, all you do is talk about them." . She's right(mostly).
