Looking real nice Alex! Very clean
I see you've gone for the 'Masami' spec chassis - will you make the other 'mods' that his car had, trimmed shock towers, bulkhead + motor mount lightening etc?

Re: Alex B's Yokomo WCS 93 build thread (90% complete)
Thanks for your kind words guys. I'm surprised how quickly I managed to get the parts together to build this. I have to say a big thanks to members on this forum who have helped me complete this build. I had a great day yesterday putting it all together
Lee, yes I got them from eBay I couldn't resist the titanium
Dan, it was my intention to do an exact Masami replica, but as you and Reggie did such a good job I thought I'd build my own unique version.
Hopefully in the next week or so I will have the correct slotted kingpins to replace the hex versions I currently have on the car and then there will be the shell. At the moment I'm thinking a take on Masami's proto worlds MX 4.
I also need to get the correct titanium screws for the shocks.

Thanks, I think the wheels and wing go well. Had the wheels already and the wing was very cheap on eBayCharlie don't surf wrote:Good lord! Everyone is faster than me![]()

looks excellent. very well done.
i don't see the "coat hanger" linking the two bellcranks. do you have a carbon brace linking them together?

Re: Alex B's Yokomo WCS 93 build thread (90% complete)
Thanks again Lee.
Scott, the chassis is from fibrelyte and comes from a mold that Dan made up.
Vette, no wire on the WCS it's a piece of black G10 I got again from fibrelyte. It was used to give a more aggressive feel to the steering, although as Reg noted, it gives horrible bump steer I used 3 washers under the ball to dial it out.

So are you going to give it a run at any point? I would have a hard time having a car like that and not knowing what a Champs car felt like...

I'm tempted to run it, perhaps next time it snows I'll take it outside (less chance of scratches in the snow
