RC10 5 LINK PROJECT FINISHED!
still needs a ton o work just got the losi 5 link fit up to the chassis for now still need to drill some holes and sand blast plus fit up some more parts this is gonna be a good one! i have never seen before hope i am the first to do so. the best 2 r/c off road cars combined as one! NEW PICS AT BOTTOM!
Re: RC10 5 LINK PROJECT
very interesting setup for sure....it may handle alot mor like a conventional rail type 1600 buggy of that era. be intersting to see how it works.
do you think its a bad twilight zone episode for team associated to be re producing a buggy from yesteryear that is capable of beating their latest and greatest production buggy?

Re: RC10 5 LINK PROJECT
I wondered how long it would be before someone else had the idea I did. I had it mocked up a bit further than you do there, I was going to use only the 5 link, then everything else stock AE.hugger19 wrote:still needs a ton o work just got the losi 5 link fit up to the chassis for now still need to drill some holes and sand blast plus fit up some more parts this is gonna be a good one! i have never seen before hope i am the first to do so. the best 2 r/c off road cars combined as one!
Even if you finish this, I will still build one eventually.

Re: RC10 5 LINK PROJECT
she is done! used automotive crinkle paint on the chassis and shocks. whole rear section is from the jrx2 minus the rear shock tower. trinity tires all around with trinity front wheels and tamiya rear wheels.

Re: RC10 5 LINK PROJECT FINISHED!
I am especially liking the PRO/JRXT front tower on the AE bulkhead...with an AE sticker on it none the less!!
How close are the AE rear shock tower holes to the JRX bulkhead? I've had both cars for years and never matched them up.

Re: RC10 5 LINK PROJECT FINISHED!
I tried that when I was a kid but I couldn't drill a straight hole in aluminum to save my life! I never ran it. I am of the opinion that the 5 link is one of the best rc rear suspension designs of all time if not the best. Nothing is better on a loose surface.
