Hey guys,
I'm new to this forum and this seemed like the perfect place to get some answers. I picked up a 10GT roller a few months back, and a few weeks ago I upgraded to an OS 18CVRX. I love that engine, wheelies on command. The only catch is that I've managed to bullet proof everything except the MIP CVDs. The damn pivot pins always walk away, just when I'm having fun. I usually get a few tanks of fuel and then, boosh, pins disappear.
Is there a captured CVD for an other AE model that would work on a 10GT? I searched the site but couldn't find a post that covered this question. This is driving me nuts.
Brilliant! Thanks for the tip. I'll try the shrink wrqp while the boots are in the mail. Thanks so much. This is just the thing I'm looking for. This forum kicks the proverbial butt.
Cheers,
I'm sure these have been done before, but I would still like to share:
Tried a set of Thunder Tiger Phoenix CVD (Part Number: PD9000) and they could be used as replacement for the RC10B2 CVD.
Also the Robinson Hardened Steel RC10GT Idler Gear...

I recently did the B44 CVA change on my back up car, I hadnt noticed before, but there were 2 clear/opaque spacers in the outdrives. These appeared to be the same as the dogbone spacer/spring set up from a 6 gear car. Once I removed them, I had no...
Has anyone found a set of captured hinge pins that fit the outer hings pins on an RC10? Even with e-clips, one of mine fell off 3 times. I need a more permanent solution.

Yeh, they came up when searching google. I want a solution that does NOT include C clips.
There was such solution in the second thread. It also reduces some play:
For a runner I would use a set screw in the mount. Grind a bit of the hinge pin...
Wondering about just the CVD bones, I'm guessing the B4's are longer but does anyone know what the actual lengths are? I *think* I used B2 CVD bones on the rear of my car with the MIP RC10 CVD kit so I could use the Klein arms or maybe I used B4,...

Ok, so then what I must have done (can't remember now, lol) is use the B4 CVD bones with the RC10 stock axles.
I got a set of shiny cvd bones in with a set of GT parts. They are too long to git the GT, but only by a little. I pictured them below next to a set of aluminum cvd that I know fit the GT. Are these perhaps T4 bones?
if not any ideas as to what they...

losi generaly has a bigger ball on the end and should not fit associated outdrives.
If i have standard or RPM arms on my 10T and install RPM 70272 carriers and bearings along with b4 axles ( same as the WOIN buggy builds)......do i just need to swap the bones to T4 9569 parts to get the correct length CVD?

I was just about to press the button on some T2 CVD`s when I lucked out and found these 3/16 axels in my parts box....never had a T2 so I guess they must be from a B2 that I had???
I used the rest of the parts from the Gas Truck CVD`s
