Got a couple Trinity Speed Gems. One is in great condition and the other is better than average. Screenshot_20210630-173943_Gallery.jpg
The ebay listing said that the Sapphire didn't work. But upon seeing that it had a diode on it, I figured that there was a good chance that they hooked it up backwards. I was right, it works fine.
So you're the one who got those. Nice to hear they both work good, at a great price too. I was watching them but decided to pass because I already have two Jade motors, one original and one Speed Gems 2, and really only wanted the Sapphire. The fella who sold them lives about 40 mins from me.
They actually sold for $5 less. I made a low offer and he countered with a good price.
I didn't have a Jade and this one is in great condition.
I already had a Sapphire but the can and decal are scratched up. I'll probably put my old endbell on this one to make one nicer motor and one lesser.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.
A couple of Deans mini antennas showed up today. I was just going to replace the trimmed antenna on my receiver, but I'll try this out first to see if it has acceptable range and reception.

A few nice additions to the collection showed up. The Pirate Treasure Chest included a very nice Lightspeed 15T single and B&R 19T triple, along with an assortment of stock motors, a lifetime supply of brushes/springs, and every motor maintenance tool I could want. Also, a very nice Buggywald motor arrived.

Got another Stadium Blitzer, sorta. I didn't look at the pictures close enough, so I probably paid a little much for it. The chassis has been modified and one of the outdrives is missing, of well. At least the shock towers aren't cracked.
Parts are still common and I have some take-offs from my other one. I also have a new set of Blitzer Beetle wheels and a TBG SB body.

Tenth Technology Predator has been high on my wish list and they don’t show up very often. It has signs of use, but overall is in great condition.

LaTrax Brilliant LTX-40 'Vette. Kind of a hobby grade / toy grade hybrid. My favorite part of this car is that when they built it, they didn't put a vintage C3 body on it, they just put a modern Corvette body on it.

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

That's a very nice example. Usually they aren't in that good of shape. I have a yellow one too in comparable condition although it has a few unoriginal decals, and the controller is mint. I actually bought it off a member here back in 2010. These cars had a number of running revisions such as plastic or brass body mounts, gear or no gear cover, and the position of the esc. Someone was playing with the adjustment on yours as the colored dot decal over it is missing. LaTrax even offered a wing hop-up kit for them. I've only ever come across two before, and I bought both kits. The gentlemen who founded LaTrax sold the company, and then eventually went on to start Traxxas down the road. Even though the two companies never had anything to do with each other, Traxxas now uses the name for one of its lines.
