Picked this up on ebay and decided to restore it. All the nylon was dyed red so to even out the color I went with black. I decided to put on my Technicraft wheels that I bought back in the day. Now I'm just waiting for some front shocks as the ones that came with the car were no good and a new body. Then I'll give it a final cleaning, test run and then retire it to the shelf.
The before, was too excited to start the rebuild that I didn't take a lot of before shots but this thing was in need of a lot of attention.
Cool. Do you have any close ups of the graphics on that body? Looks like a warrior with a wolf or a dragon or something. The monitor on this work computer kinda sucks though so I may be way off.

I can take some, I am not a fan of that body but if someone likes it I would be more then happy to part with it

I'm just curious. Reminds me of something you'd see on the side of a van in the late 70's early 80's. I was just wondering if it was painted or just decals or something. Not something you see everyday.

Yeah it has a total 70's van vibe to it. I haven't really looked at it much because its really not my style but I think its a print out that they put under the lexan then a coat of paint to protect/secure it.
I will get a couple of pictures up tomorrow. It is one of the things I like about collecting cars is the bodies, they can really be time capsules of when the car was built and used, and I like to keep the original body of the cars I get but this one is just too much for me
Can't wait to see it. I love things that are awesomely bad. I've created a few things (R/C and otherwise) in my day that could easily fall into that category.

I'm trying really hard to get this ready for the next vintage meet on the 14th of Feb, with a Technigold up it's bum it should give the RC10 & Losi brigade a run for their money...............if we go to the beach.
Anyway, I've been impatient so...
Ok guys this is a sneak peak at the powdercoated chasis build. I still have to paint the wing, actually its drying right now. This is the first body I painted like this, I did a 10T in 94 but it was one color only, so please be kind if you see...

Here is my Curtis Husting checkered paint scheme replica as seen on the cover of the original RC10 manual. I still have to paint the wing and the driver and install decals. This paint scheme was NOT easy! I have about 18 hours in it so far.

Most of my older Peak Performance are Yokomo can & endbell, although one is Yok can and Air Supply endbell. But I have one PP motor that is Trinity Epic based. Both of those are from a former PP sponsored racer so I don't think there's been too much...
First off, this is my first post. I've been lurking for a while, but I finally felt it was time to participate. I'm a long time RCer. I got my first (real) car in the mid 90's. I've been at it off and on ever since. My history of cars from first to...

You can find pretty much any part to rebuild the car through ebay, online hobby shops(tower) and sale forums(like on this site, though you need to be granted access). Many parts are available new, or have newer replacements from B4 or other modern...
