Decal Repros
I've managed to collect a nice stash of vintage Losi decal sheets and I want some A grade copies made, does anyone here know where I can get these done?
I don't mind posting them to someone in the States to do,if needed.
I have JRX2,JRXT,LXT,XX,XXT G +, XX CR Kinwald,XX4 & XX4 WE complete,NIP sheets,some 'Team Losi Performance' sheets and lots more.
What equipment would I need to reproduce and create my own decals, myself?
I can't bring myself to cut these up,when I could help so many other people finish their vintage projects off.
I'm always looking for more,too,especially a Junior T sheet.
Managed to get the XX4 nip sheet last week, but I paid a lot of money for it.
This is a favorite,,it's super vibrant and looks like it's leaping off the paper.

Oh wow,that's good news!
Hopefully they'll be good quality, some of the repro decals out there are absolute rubbish.
I bought some repro Kyosho Triumph decals and they were the worst decals I have ever seen.

Hi, I looked into this about a year or so ago, started drawing up vector images too. Problem is I think with those colours they are screen printed? smallest qty most companies would work to was 1000 sheets.

I'm pretty sure they were screened.
I'm going to check out a few local printers next week,I can't bring myself to cut these up,before I can get good copies made.

I love those G+ decals too, so bright!! I used them on my truck & was suprised to find that the vinyl that they were printed on was not clear but more of an opaque effect - like invisible tape used in the graphics/printing industry.
Please keep us posted with your progress with getting your repro decals..... errrm 'reproduced'

Good luck! I for one would bite your hand off for a few sheets of losi decals. I noticed the xx4 decal sheet on ebay the other week, wondering which nutjob paid so much Well now i know! If you could get some decent repro's made it could even be an investment! Also looking for junior-t sheet....

Re: Decal Repros
Yeah,I paid too much for that one,but it's going to bare offspring.
The Junior 2 sheet is the same as an LXT sheet, which I have.
The Junior T sheet has the truck grill and the 'Junior T' logos on it,so that's the one to go for, really.

Whenever you screen fluro colours, you always have to do a pass of white first,so I expect that's the reason behind the opaqueness of that sheet.
