Well the tranny was available before a car with the tranny as standard... I can check my old mags, but I'm thinking 91... I should imagine youd get an answer on here quicker than I can look it up though!!
I seem to remember the retrofit tranny being out in the US a good few months before the Uk as guys were importing it from Tower for a while and selling them for A LOT of money
I think called the "Team Car", this was the first car to offer the Stealth transmission. Also purchased for nostalgia."
Don't know when this car came out, but it may help jog someones memory. If that does not work, I have access to some truth serum and an electric shock-o-gram. We can do this the easy way, or the hard way.

It wasn't as stupid a question as I first thought then, I thought I would get all sorts of rolley eye replies
I ask as I want to run my Astute in the local vintage class which is for cars and parts available only up until and including 1990 and I think I might be going to bend the rules a bit but I know some guys are running stealths and I thought they might be later than 1990 which would give me a bit of leverage

RC10 Worlds Car debuts with 2.40:1 transmission in 1994.
if they can bend the rules so can I

While you are on a roll there Rouge, answer me this (if I can hi-jack for a second). I bought a graphite car with the Stealth. I want to say it was a Team car. It had AE on the chassis and they had just came out. I put a 610-RV in it. What year was that?
I know the 610 was discontinued in '92 but it could have set on the shelf a while.

The RC10 Team Car which featured the Stealth transmission was released in late 1990 - early 1991.
Eau Rouge, the 1994 RC10 Worlds car featured the same Stealth transmission as the Team Car (2:25 ratio). I think you are getting confused with the RC10B2 which was released after the RC10 Worlds Car.
I like reading alot of your posts on this forum but in this particular case, you are wrong. Sometimes you shouldn't believe everything you read. The informative timeline you provided via link merely suggests that the 2:40:1 transmission was released in 1994, and I can say this with 100% certainty that no 1994 RC10 Worlds Cars came with a transmission with a 2:40:1 ratio.
The Worlds Car was the model that Team Associated released to celebrate Brain Kinwalds 1993 Ifmar World Championship win. It featured an aluminium chassis (among other hop up parts). I think the graphite car you have/referring to is the Team Car which was available with both aluminium and graphite chassis'.
Gotcha. That was the first new car I bought. That was a long time ago and I traded it for a Land Jump and it's 2 wheel drive brother (vanning maybe). I don't recall.
