Efficiency and power handling. It's better in every way- it's lighter, less rotating mass, a slipper, etc

Are you able to run the new style slippers (B4) on the old Stealths?

Yes you can.
The differential also works better, which improves the car's handling.

Appreciate the insight guys. I'm a bit of an RC10 newbie. I've been in the hobby a while and finally picked one up so I'm kinda getting the crash course.

The exposed diff on the 6 gear simply needs rebuilding FAR more than the internal on the stealth. The stealth diff also works better. The other stuff is just icing on the cake.

That's not true.
Diff rebuilds are much easier on the 6 gear. :P
