Sorry for the delay. I mean I definitely didn't get caught up watching ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN... and I definitely didn't cry at the end when Charlie gave up his own life to save Anne-Marie...

CHARRRR-LIEEEE!!!!

 - Seriously though, let me know if you still need anything, and sorry if it's too late.

If it won't upload, email me the file and I'll convert it to a format that will.

You had another car at the same auction, right? What did that one sell for?

no, just that one. we didn't get the credit for the build because having another persons name (thornton) on the car is worth more money...... i guess.

I bet they archive all their segments in some way. The video may be available on their website. Great work!

here's the deal, and it really sucks that i have to clarify it because of how this BS went down. i should be sitting here proud of the work my dad and i did and that car, and getting recognized for it on a national (worldwide?) stage. but instead, i'm seriously pissed....... upset in a way.

we (my dad and myself) built that 68 hurst in 2010 in OUR shop. the last few little things were completed on the car in early 2011. the owner of the hurst had this 67 442 restored by thornton's last year:

http://www.barrett-jackson.com/application/onlinesubmission/lotdetails.aspx?ln=974&aid=466

he decided to sell both cars at the auction this year. thornton took care of detailing and transporting the cars out there. the problem is, the car WE built had thornton's name on it because they were taking care of actually selling it. well, because of that, when it was up on the auction block (and on tv) they got the credit for doing the car. there was a reason behind there name getting on the car. -------> $$$. they're the "place to go" to get an oldsmobile restored. people know their name. it equals more money.
