B4.1 body help

Post by askbob »

I finally picked up a B4.1. The truggy looking body has to go. What is a nice looking buggy body that'll fit ok and not look all goofy like the long chassis body?
Also looking for some pics of older paint schemes that have been adapted to the newer B4 bodies. No tribal/flames/skulls for me!

Thanks Rod. Went ahead and picked up clear shell like the one pictured above. Anyone here want to do a paint job for cash or trade? Thinking of a paint scheme similar to the gold RPM car I built.

I'm not a big fan of the smooshed bodies myself. When I built my slim buggy, using a truck chassis, I had no choice. I did the best I could at making the body somewhat tolerable with a simple paint job.

Got around to getting one done for a B4 I'm working on. Just rough cut so far.

Soooooo.... Does that body fit the +8 chassis???

I think, this is the closest to old school that fits the +8 car. Its the JC Punisher +8

^^ That body looks pretty good. Not too cab forward.

Another guy at the track had the standard B4 body like I have above on the +8 chassis and it looked fine. A tad short up front, but no biggie.

Mine is still in pieces awaiting aluminum parts to return from anno. Gonna flip the lid and have all the aluminum bits gold instead of blue. Including the big bores.

I like that! Not a fan of those stupid looking cab forward bodies. Especially on the trucks! They look like big long bed pick up trucks.
