pick my next build for me lol

Post by discgolfer72 »

i have one space left on my car shelf

i have bags and bags of rc10 parts (no white parts left ,excpt rear and front bulkheads)

what should i build

i have 3 pans left ,and 2 trans . a stealth and a 6 gear
Image

out of the three chassis im only intrested in 2 the 3rd is stilla wip

first i have a a stamp original black chassis with stealth and 6 gear holes i refinished it in stuff used to reinforce old car frames (tougher than bed liner and not as heavy texture)

Image

then i have a runner quality gold pan a stamp with only 6 gear holes

Image

im a blank slate right now excpt this will be a runner not a shelf queen
and im def going to use the 3/16 axles and andys/rpm front and rear a-arms

That pan on the right looks like it was sand blasted.

Careful blasting, I did one years ago and warped it. I flipped it over and lightly blasted the other side to true it up again. And the pressure was low.

I vote for a stealth car, black chassis with wide front arms or RPM arms all around

I think you should build a Kyosho.

either look for the "correct" outer hub and clutch disc on ebay (since it's all discontiued), buy available slipper parts from a b2/b3/t3, or change the entire topshaft and use all b4 stuff.

well im guessing the outer hub i bought at the lhs is a b4(rings are probably b4 as well)
and they had a b4 top shaft as well
is it a drop in replacement or do i need other parts to make it work with the old stealth trans

I don't think there's an "outer" hub with the b4 slipper. They're both the same. Whats the part number on it?

That half blasted chassis looks pretty cool. You could do some cool things with that effect if you think it through properly. 8)

well you'd need another one of those, the slipper pads, spur, spring, nut, and topshaft.

all this plus the b4 topshaft.
