So I got a few sets of these from RW Racing. They Came with absolutely no instructions or the additional parts needed to run them. From the looks, They will require a bearing that is flanged and an addition Snap ring thats fits inside. I tried putting one of the bearing that I have in it but the fit was too tight. I might try heating it but i dont know if it will help yet.
To start things off, Has anybody else had experience with these?
These things do look almost just like an outdrive that the gear was cut off of.
Thought id add that He only has a few left to sell if you want one too.

yes, that is pretty much what they are. they should fit a flanged bearing and use a snap ring to retain them. If the bearings are a tight fit, polish out the gear with some scotchbrite until they snap in snugly. Not much to it. just run a very light grease or dry lube of some type( graphite or?)

Re: 6 Gear Steel Idler Gears
I got a feeling If I ever sell off the cars with a 6 gear tranny, they will get some metal idlers lol. Prolly be a nice surprise considering the normal ones are all but gone. Hell, I only have 1 plastic idler spare so if i shread a tranny, im screwed.

I bought two sets and they are 'new' in the package. I see they raised the price on them now. Should have bought more!DMAT wrote:has anyone ordered from them before, Part number aside (should be asc6614) no photo makes me cautious on buying it.
I see someone on ebay trying to sell these for $22.00
