Sidewinder

Post by myfordcnc »

So There are two sidewinder bodies up for sale on that site we love love to hate. One is original for about $60 and the other is a TBG body for about $25. I have two builds going that I'm terming ying/yang/ac/dc what have you. I like the side winder body and want to have something special done paint wise x2. So my questions are 1) is the TBG body as nice as the original? Who here can do custom work? and 3) who here can do the trimming. As I will not even attempt it since I am horribly inept at any thing that has to do with that.

I personally love the Sidewinder- I've never seen the repro version, but none of his are close to perfect that I have seen and the Sidewinder is the most detailed and tightest fitting shell AE offered (tight in shock towers and tail section). I would buy the $60 original (quickly) and leave the other one where it is. Just my opinion-

Do, or do not! There is no 'try'!
RC; Boats, Buggies, Trucks, Bash's, Racing and of course 'VINTAGE'!
