First time using liquid mask. Results are not to bad for a rookie . I just need more practice with the xacto knife and my shading skills still suck .

Also keep in mind with fades you don't want a high air pressure as it will create splatters. I usually drop my pressure lower when when I do fades and small details.

I have just used Parma faskmask so I can`t compare. I have seen other brands but I don`t know how they are..Which one would you recomend?

Liquid mask??? What is it, where can I get, how's it work? I've been taping & X-acto knifing for years. Apparently I've been living under a rock. Please have pity on me and give me the IN . If it does what the name says, shoot me now. SEVERAL TIMES!

I use Bob Dively's Liquid Mask. My workflow is like this:

Trim bodies with the X-acto method
Spray on Bob Dively's liquid mask (second half of above video) with $15 Harbor Freight Spray Gun
Use Sk3tch's workflow example to apply art, cut...

been doing the old school masking tape painting bodies . or should i say trying to paint bodies. tried using parma liqiud mask and it just turns into a rubbery mess that won't peel where i cut the lines. what am i doing wrong? says to brush on a few...

Maybe it wasn't Bob Divley, but he definately had some spray on liquid mask. I went to the track today but forgot to ask him about it, I'm going tomorrow for some more track time. I'll try to remember to ask him about it and post here when I get...

I'm thinking of ordering and using Bittydesign liquid mask. Is there a better choice available today for RC bodies?

I use a pancake compressor for my mini hvlp and have had zero problems with the liquid mask. You spray several light coats letting each coat dry between so it has no problem keeping up.

i havent used liquid mask before but im wondering about how well it seals. If I cut a line but dont remove the piece, will paint bleed through the cracks to the body.

I'm thinking that before I spray anything, I cut all the edges of my design and...
