RPM Rear Hub Carrier Set RPM70172
Hi guys,
I want to use these on my T3 but can't seem to work out wich CVD's to use. Standard T4 CVD's are way to short. Does anyone has experience with this?
thanx!

You will need T4/GT2 axle stubs with T3 shafts.

Re: RPM Rear Hub Carrier Set RPM70172
thanks for teh quick reply!
so you meen the 9670 axle from the GT2 combined with the T3 cvd bone ?
i´ve just checked, but that can´t be right? I want to use the CVD....The stub axle combination on the GT2 is te same as that of the T4 and that doesen't work on the T3.
Should I perhaps use the gt2 cvd bone combined with the t3 or t4 axle?
Am i wanting something impossible?

Re: RPM Rear Hub Carrier Set RPM70172
The 7027 set is a better fit and Avid makes 3/16X1/4 bearings for them
Do you have the 7027 set by chance?

Re: RPM Rear Hub Carrier Set RPM70172
great info Teman!
No I have the RPM 70172. Idea behind it all was also to widthen the rear a bit. If i'm correct that is not the case with the 7027. So in the end my plan with the RPM 70172 hubs is not possible.
So, now i will try to find a pair of RPM 7027 hubs (with the AVID Bearings off course!

Compared to either stock hubs it will raise up and extend out the rear wheels a little. I'll take a photo when my camera battery is charged.
The newer stock 0 degree is on the left, the later stock 3 degree is on the right. I've test fitted the RPMs, I just never got around to running with them this year

curious how they will perform, with the raising of the wheels and all. Let me know when you had the time to run them
.
Have to wait when a pair shows up on the internet. Recently there was one, but the shipping alone was $20

I'll run the T3 again soon, I just need to order the bearings from avid

I'm pretty sure the newer set will work on the older trucks, we just need to figure out what combination of parts work best together.

It's unfortunate RPM stopped producing them.
if you have new info on the AVID bearings let me know!

Re: RPM Rear Hub Carrier Set RPM70172
@ teman:
i just received my RPM hubs
I also received the AVID bearings
http://www.avidrc.com/product/1/bearings/75/14-x-12-x-316-Revolution-R188-RSZ-bearings.html ,
however they don't fit!!!! Inner hole is to big for the axle. outer size is correct.
what you need (I think) is this:
http://www.avidrc.com/product/1/bearings/117/316-x-12-x-49250-Revolution-R3-RSZ-bearings.html
Am I right?

if you have 3/16" axles then yes...that should work. Hard to say what your truck has without seeing pix

Re: RPM Rear Hub Carrier Set RPM70172
thanx for the lightning quick response Todd!
3/16" axles are what I have. So i'm good I guess.
I've contacted AVID because it seems their site offers incorrect info.
I'll post the results as soon as the bearings arrive here in The Netherlands.
perhaps I'll even post some pictures ....
