VW people, anyone else going to the VW Classic?

Post by mk-Zero »

I know there are at least a few VW peeps on here in So Cal, any of you going to the VW Classic on Saturday June 21? I'll be out there with my 55 Oval, it would be cool to meet you guys if you come.

I'll be there for sure! It's my favorite show of the year. Sad the pre-shows got messed up due to the date change. Did you go to OCTO too?

I didn't go to OCTO this year, too lazy, lol. In fact, I haven't been to OCTO since it was at Angles stadium, which is literally 1-2 miles from my house. I may go to the DKP cruise on friday, not sure yet. You bringing a car out on Saturday?

If you want to meet up at the Classic, shoot me a PM and I'll give you my cell phone number so we can find each other. That goes for anyone else going too.

The waterpumper crowd is usually pretty small in general, and early ones are of course even less. Personally, I really like seeing mk1 and mk2 gtis and mk1 sciroccos more than the later watercooled stuff 8)

Rabbit trucks are getting big again, especially with newer TDI motors installed.

Cool, I'll PM you my number. I'll probably make it out to DKP too.

Fuel pump is still out on my GTI, and the 57 is still barn fresh, so I'll be VWless this year :(

and RC10Resto, you have to bring out the Scirocco!

Looks cool, I love type 3's. Buddy of mine in Houston has a 65 notch I used to work on a lot when I lived out there. We replaced the bottom 6" of that car in my garage
He's running OG Cosmics on it.
