Anyone else order from shapeways and have them charge, refund, then re-charge a week later? Really reaks havoc on the old paypal account! They did it to both my orders so far

Guess why?.... Cause I do the same damn thing every time we pass by a few places in town. There is a half decent Chinese food place near me that is always busy. All you can eat for $15.

Every time we go by, I say Holy $hit that parking lot is full...

i was wondering if you guys could give me an idea about the durability of shapeways plastic in the usa. been thinking of geting some of niki's parts but my car will be raced. durability will play a big roll in if i buy any.

Probably a good option for anyone in europe.
Paul knows the requirements of rc and is probably more willing to communicate about print orientation etc. than shapeways or materialize.

All the polished shape ways parts I have received in the past months has a sandblast finish to them. Did the shapeways polished parts always have this rough surface to them? What's the easiest way to get them to have a smooth polished surface? I...

If the part is flat where you want it to be polished, use a whet stone.

Something higher than 800 or 1000 grit to polish it and in a few minutes you will be as smoooooth as Rod's butt! :shock:
