Just received this in the mail today. My first Yoke and one that I've been wanting for a looooong time! Im sure many of you guys have seen this car before. Its been listed on ebay for probably close to 2yrs. The guy had it listed as a BIN for anywhere between $800 all the way up to $1600 + $90 shipping. I watched it for a long time and all of a sudden he listed it for $450 starting bid. I didnt think Id ever get it for that price but I did! I was the only bidder.
Its missing a few bits but thanks to alien3t Ill be able to get it built and on the shelf in no time. He found the missing parts at a hobby shop for me and will be sending them shortly. I really appreciate it!
I might snap a few pics while building it and post them up here. I will definately get some pics up when its complete. Hope you guys like it!
Started building it tonight and noticed it's missing the front bulkhead, so the build is on hold until I can find one. Maybe someone can help me with that? Bummed me out.

Hope you enjoy the build.
I dont know about that? I still think I got a really good price. They dont show up very often NIB and when they do the price is usually well north of $600. I knew it was missing a few bits. The bulkhead bummed me out because its a major part. All the other parts were found by a generous member here and he only asked for around $20 shipped to me. They were all NOS parts a hobby shop had left over. I gave him a bit more than the actual price just because of the service he provided and they usually go for way more than that on ebay.
Im happy to finally have a NIB yoke and even after the money spent on the missing parts I still think I got a very good deal on it.
I was lucky enough to be present at the "opening". There was an aura about it, a glow. Angels were singing and God was in heaven. It was glorious. I am now jealous.
I'd take a knife for some really good nachos.

Yeah, little bit of wishin I had that kind of money for this hobby laying around. Someday when the house is finished and the garage is finished and the barn is finished and the deck is finished...and I get one I'll be too old to do anything with it, I'll die and the wife will put it on a garage sale for $5 so someone can pick it up and make a great story for you guys to read about it on here .
Lookin forward to some progress pix. Glad you are at least putting it together instead of boxing it

Going to be spending some time this winter rebuilding this car, I took it down to the chassis and got off all the old servo tape residue. Need to get a body and decide on paint.

The '94 YZ10 is an awesome runner. You have some really nice Suzuki bits on it, though, and it would be a shame to scratch those up if you ran the car. I'd recommend getting a second '94 and making that one a runner ;)
This is my vintage 1980s Yokomo Super Dog Fighter buggy unveiled in 2023. This build is 90% complete with period-correct batteries and electronics.

Just make sure they don't do it with a Sub-Prime US mortgage!! Looks like it's causing a global stock market crash.
Here are higher-quality pictures from RC magazine for Yokomo Super Dog Fighter fans with more detailed google translations. Enjoy! I'm happy my local library subscribes to this magazine :)

I hope they follow through on this. YZ10 prices have gotten insane and it'll be great to have a supply of harder-to-find parts which don't cost my soul.
