Custom RC10 B-stamp Build

Post by teman »

Here's my 2nd custom runner project, it's been a year in the making! It was quite the task finding all the new bits and putting it all together which is why it too soo long  a BIG thanks to all of those here who helped with the parts for this 8) I have a body set ready to paint so that's next to do on the list. I'm hoping to drive it before winter, just need some cash for electronics. It will be an interesting drive, basically just a bit wider and longer than a B3, haha it's pretty much ready to kill 8)

I'll probably miss something in the list, but here's a quick rundown... new chassis set, B3 shocks with HG shock parts, RPM servo mounts, custom battery brace, front RPM truck conversion arms, RPM mount, 30 degree castor blocks, worlds steering arms, B3 axles, B3 rims, custom front shock tower, RPCS bell cranks, Lunsford B3 turnbuckles, worlds bulkhead, rear RPM truck conversion arms, 0 degree mounts, 3 degree hubs, B4 rear rims, custom shock tower, new transmission with b3 slipper and custom CVDs... Enjoy

Thanks! Unfortunately this is technically ROAR illegal so no official racing. I knew that when I started building, but the a-arms are so cool I was compelled to see it through :D I was hoping the B4 wheels would narrow the rear enough, however it doesn't. If someone had a chassis with a narrowed rear, it would be legal. If anyone is wondering what the CVD's are, they're are Custom Works 7213 long bones with B4 Axles

We run on our own track here that John (popboy905) and I built, one of these days I'll beat him - maybe

Thanks 8)

Managed to get the body done today minus the wing. I decided to do a Turbo Mirage for this :D used black & fluorescent yellow base backed with a little silver and then white. I did the pin-striping, window nets, and the custom numbers in black/ silver vinyl

Love it, will have to do this scheme again

I like that track! Looks like a real 'off-road" track. Where is it located upstate?

Excellent work, amazing paint. You're not going to lose that one in the sprint to the corner.

You're right I think they're flipped, I thought they looked funny  I'll have to fix that now before I forget.

Finished the matching wing today :D Overall, I really dig the silver mixed with the fluorescent, it makes it almost iridescent! I hope I didn't over do the layers and lay too much.

EDIT: Thanks Brian, I fixed the mounts!
