Saw this buggy posted on Craiglist over the weekend , it was about a hour drive so after dinner I hopped in the car and went for a drive . The original owner use to work in a hobby shop and also raced the buggy . He purchased the chassis from a salesman that stopped by the shop with new items to try. A bumper and chassis tape was installed but the left rear arm mount is broken and the rear kick-up has started to delaminate. A plate was installed in between the mounts and chassis , it held up to modified racing at the track this way . I ended paying a $100 for the buggy with some extra motor and tires. Besides the broken rear mount looks like it will just need a good cleaning and some ca around the edges of the chassis.
Thanks guys , had some time to work on the buggy this weekend . Just disassembled it and gave it a good cleaning with simple green . Sanded the rear kick-up and glued it with ca . A plate was used to reinforced the mounting holes in the back , the rear does feel very thin . The nose tube's were also bent a little to line up with the original holes in the front , it had an extra hole drilled over next to it .
Anyone knows when was the last big race Associated ran the tub chassis RC10? I know the Proto of the B2 was ran in ’95 worlds but I was wandering the moment when the team put down the tub and never look back again.
thanks, :)

95-96 was the last of the production CE, I think the team drivers stopped right after the worlds 95
I have built stock Rc10's before but am unfamiliar with the uprade's or modifications for it . Picked this buggy up at the flea market last week for $10 and would like to get it running again . Is there a reason for laying down the front shocks or...

Wow, what a transformation! I love your paint scheme. Great work 8)
I was bored and had enough spare leftover parts that I'd likely never use so I put this monstrosity together. I like the fact it looks like a vintage RC car complete with patina. I put a boosted 10.5 brushless in it but am worried the MIP SP-1 wont...

Turned out nice RJ, but the green springs need to go :P
Gold springs are in the mail Marlon  They will be replaced in about a month when they arrive.
Here's my Optima , I picked up locally on craiglist along with a Rc10 for $100 . Besides some dirt and rust , the Rc10 looks to be in good shape...the Optima not so much . There is some extra gears , arms and also the left over chain drive but most...
Like so many others, after stumbling on this site it made me fall back in love with my long stored away old r/c cars. I started this hobby in the late 80's and have been on and off again with it ever since. In the past when I got the itch I just...

Got this one a while ago. It's got some pretty cool pieces on it. Can anyone spot the one part that convinced me to buy it?
Anyway, the old owner said that he got this one in the first batch of RC10's shipped to Fantasy World Toys and Hobbies of...

Did you know that the average central corneal thickness is 0.5mm? Just thought I'd pad my postcount a little.
Glad that helped. Let me know if you need any remeasurements. Very interested to see how those come out Dr. Robotnik!!
