T2 build (If I ever find the parts)
I´m going to build a T2 from the new parts I bought from Mamadoesn´tletme, as soon as I find the lightweight outdrives I bought 6 months ago
I hope it´s possible to use a b4 topshaft - The diff gear should be the same as for B4?
Any input welcome
Thanks

B4 topshaft will work perfectly, using it in mine.

Re: T2 build (If I ever find the parts)
So after finding the outdrives I started wrenching or perhaps wrecking is a better word.
When trying to slide the last of the UJ´s in place, I found that the bearings had shrunk - Guess You AE guys are used to that kind of things, but when You primarily do it in Kyosho, such things comes as a shock
So after 15 minutes with a set of needle files, sand papir, heat and oil bath, I managed to get the shaft to fit the shrunken bearings.
Right now I´m awaiting parts from the UK and US.
Meanwhile I thought I´d build the shocks, which worked like a charm BUT, my plan was to steal the white clamps and retainers from the worlds RE-RE kit, thought it would look nice with all new white plastic. But unfortunatly, most of the white parts in my kit are greenish
If it wasn´t for that smooth running Stealth gearbox .......
I had to be a little alternative with the front body mounts - I have a nice unmolested T2 body, that has been drilled for T - NOT by me.

Thanks LittleVETTE -
Yes, I checked them twice on the other shaft, they were a perfect fit.
I´ve never experienced axles/shafts not being within tolerances before, so I was pretty surprised

Re: T2 build (If I ever find the parts)
My plans at the moment, involves a shelf and now that I´ve got the shocks mounted, a new body with some fresh paint.
The shocks interfered with the "customised" body mounts.
I´ve got a second chassis with little use, which either will be build as B1,5 or T2 runner. But to be honest, the majority of my fleet will never see dirt, while in my possession. Too many cars and too little time
Sometimes it comes to mind, that I should cut it down to say 10 cars - but then the next day, I buy another car that I can´t live without or start building/restoring one
