May favorite ever car won me many a race I'm wondering if to make it look a bit prettier. Bought some new alloy rear hubs that look nice. As you can see its already got most of the hop up parts on it from it's racing days rpm front arms and gear cover alloy from bulk head and a number of other alloy parts graphite all round
Any suggestions on improvements, improve the scratches on the alloy, any other alloys bits I could get for it? Worth changing the screws for new stainless steel ones??
I wouldn't change a thing, only screw back all the parts that the car originally had. Clean plastic parts, but keep tires dusty, they have the original dust in them.
I have a bit similar Losi XX http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=23418, my old race car and I didn't change nothing since last A-main where I did race my car, even the same battery is in there). I only turn tires to random position (to avoid tires to become "D"), "bump" shocks down and up a few times and turn slipper & Hyrda drive (to give O-rings some "fresch" oil ) and turn diff (to keep it smooth) a few times a year.

Which orginal parts??
Sorry I did first understand Your writing wrong, I thought that You have already changed some parts that do not "belong" to original car.
Took it out at a local race meeting 20 year old shock oil still in it lol. Practice wasn't great batteries lasted 3 laps so after some advice about lipos I used them instead. Did 2 rounds one of which I finished about half way up the field full of modern cars. Unfortunately I fried the motor so missed the next 2 rounds but finished second in my final. Loved it now just need to get a brushless setup going
The only buggy I have left from the many I had back in the day. I built this out of some spares I had back in about 1992. I raced it the stock 2wd buggy class for a little while. It still has the vintage track dirt from the last time I raced it in...

I have a T3 basher and only managed to break a rear arm mount. By far my most favorite rc. I now run it mostly on the street with a 5700kv Castle and Pro Line Road Rage tires.
I suggest loctite in all of the rear screws. I managed to loosen...

Like so many others, after stumbling on this site it made me fall back in love with my long stored away old r/c cars. I started this hobby in the late 80's and have been on and off again with it ever since. In the past when I got the itch I just...

Got this one a while ago. It's got some pretty cool pieces on it. Can anyone spot the one part that convinced me to buy it?
Anyway, the old owner said that he got this one in the first batch of RC10's shipped to Fantasy World Toys and Hobbies of...
