Mostly Black RC10T.
Hi Guys,
Things have been a bit slow here in RC10T land,
I have a RC10T runner but not a nice shelfer,
So I thought I might use some parts that have been hanging on my pegboard for far too long!
Anyway here's the start,

Pretty cool start Dave. It will be a crisp build for sure. I am a fan of the 10T. Duh, I guess.

Re: Mostly Black RC10T.
Thanks Mark,
I love the RC10T,
I am using GT/T2 steering on this one.
I have some Duratrax Molded black towers on it at the moment,
I plan to swap them for some aftermarket carbon fiber ones,
and keep the Duratrax towers for a earlier RC10T build with 7001 white arms.
I don't have a chassis yet for that one.

Re: Mostly Black RC10T.
Hi Guys,
I swapped the Duratrax Towers for some from RC Carbon Works.
I have placed an order to Tower Hobbies for the parts I am missing,
T2/GT steering plastics, the one I have has a crack in it.
1.02 shock shafts.
Shock bushings (Black)
Lunsford Racing Turnbuckles.
ASC 9598 B4/T4 rear axles, with the RPM rear carriers, and using these axles,
I think I will be able to use the ASC 9608 Blue rear wheel spacers.
I just have to wait now, 7 - 14 days.

I went the same route with my T3. T4 rear axles with RPM rear carriers and the ASC 9608 spacers.

Hi Guys,
Hi Jimbo302, thank you for the positive comment.
Hi Broodenburg, thank you for confirming it will work.
Hi Bully, I will be using CVD's, I edited my post with the part number for the axles.

Just the axle, yeah I use them on most of mine... Can't remember if I used the blue spacer or just axle shims, thinking shims for most..

Which rpm rear hubs did you use? The ones for the standard 10t?
I'm doing essentially the same build with a lot of rpm parts right now!
Also which transmission case is that? I've owned my original since like 1992... unfortunately I'm kind of inexperienced with some of the mods for them;)

Re: Mostly Black RC10T.
Hi,
The rear hubs are RPM # 70272 that use 1/2" x 3/16 bearings, they suit 10T/T2/T3/GT.
The RPM 2.65 Stealth Conversion is # 80551.
My Tower Hobbies order can't be far away now!

Re: Mostly Black RC10T.
Hi,
No, not # 9674 that's for a T4, they are longer.
I am using CVD Bone # 7379 which suits, 10T/T2/T3/GT, if you can find them.
The parts must be getting close now, must be patient!

Re: Mostly Black RC10T.
I picked up some RPM rear hubs so I'd essentially be running the same setup! So all I need is:DaveM wrote:Hi,

ASC 7379 dogbones - is there a shiny version?
ASC 9598 axles
ASC 9608 Spacer
And that would mate right up to a stealth transmission or an RPM if I'm able to source one?
