Check out this lot I got from the guys at a local hobby shop. Not sure what I'm going to do with the direct drive oval car, but I need to do something. All 3 have what look like almost near Andy's black arms and barely any scuffs (much less dings) in the chassis. Plus a bag of random parts. The oval has a basic 2.4GHz radio and newer unused brushed receiver.

Re: Direct Drive Graphite and Trailing Arm Find
well, the builder was definitely thinking outside of the box here
.
Seen your post elsewhere first and glad to see you posted it here also. However you look at it you ended up with a nice bunch of parts

Re: Direct Drive Graphite and Trailing Arm Find
I was just amazed at the condition of the graphite chassis. Most all parts look to be in top shape. Couldn't pass it up. I'll definitely make use of the parts or put them up for others. Owner of the shop is going to keep an eye out for me for any vintage AE finds.

Re: Direct Drive Graphite and Trailing Arm Find
Very nice load of after market parts. Looks like a J-Car trans and a set of The Touch aluminum rear arms. Get rid of the modern bits and fit it with a period correct latemodel dirt oval body.

Re: Direct Drive Graphite and Trailing Arm Find
I didn't take a pic, but it came with a new unpainted dirt oval wedge body. I got a few misc parts and a pair of short AS shocks too. I've got to add it to the teardown queue. Lol.
