Is anyone into kites?
I'm going through a bit of a stage of hobby overload at the moment......lol
I got started in kites before RC cars and have dabbled in and out of them over the years since. Sadly I haven't flown any in about 5 years since I broke the bridal on my Quantum. I was thinking about finally getting the kite bag out, fixing that kite up, and seeing if anyone else was into them.
One of my favorite kites is the Silver Fox 2.5. It was the first kite that really opened up my world to 3d stunts.

Re: Anyone into kites?
If I lived near a beach some place warmer I would definitely get one. I did a fair amount of kite flying during summer vacations back in the day. Nothing fancy though, just regular cheap kites. One I remember owning that was really popular at the time was the Gayla Baby Bat. Then one time my friend brought a 3D stunt kite and it was a lot of fun.

3d stunt kites are a lot of fun, the tricks you can do these days is amazing. I've never been into basic kites but two stuck in my mind. One being a space shuttle kite with an orange streamer out the back that spun to emulate fire. Another was a buddies dragon kite with the longest tail that I've ever seen, it literally went further than you could see it.
