Vote for 12th Scale Body
Same as our 10th scale poll. Bodies we haven't run yet. Vote on what you want to see next.

Wow, a five way tie right now. Didn't expect such divided tastes.

Re: Vote for 12th Scale Body
Anyone know if this Camaro mold actually ever produced a body to the public for Bolink? I am having my doubts after trying to run it Sunday.
First the casting is not great, lots of small pits from air bubbles in the casting. That then they leave marks in the lexan. ( realize now you can see the pits in the picture above in the roof, they are those small black dots in that circular stain ) So those need to be filled some how, and they are in multiple places. Then the the body looks to be impossible to get off the mold. The over hangs in the design both front, back, and sides make it terrible to get off the mold. Getting the webbing out was easy, but even with an air eject of 70 PSI that body is not popping off the mold. Ordering up some mold release but I doubt that will help much. The rear tail lights are really recessed and then there is good over hang on the front grill. Oh and the doors have a nice under cut as well.
Think until I get the release in and the pits filled, I will move on to the RX7.

Re: Vote for 12th Scale Body
I just grabbed the 935 Long Tail Moby Dick you had listed on eBay. But I have a question about the 930. What is the wheelbase on the 930? I am guessing it is 1/12 scale? How about the width? I love the looks of the 930 but want to make sure it will fit one of the cars I would need it for.

You are aware that now I am going to have to explain to my wife why I need to build a second 1/12 scale car.
