Anyone know why this NIMH batter is not fitting?

Newer battery cells are larger than older 1200 -1700 mah scr and sce cells

They are sized closer to lipos now...

workaround: cut the flat bottom part of the bulkhead to get the 10th of the inch you are missing so it fits. That's how they did it for the re-re:

You may also need to move the cup forward. Rather than drill holes, you can use servo tape and tape it down.

Stick packs didn't fit in them right 30 years ago either. :lol:

I wonder if I buy an old NICAD battery if it will fit. Really just for show since it’s a shelfer. The bottom of the bulkhead is already cut and I don’t really want to drill holes or use tape. Thanks for the feedback guys.

Yeah older nice packs might fit. They also fit better without the end caps or if you run a side by side 6 cell.
