Alright so a couple months ago my friend contacts me stating he just clicked buy it now on a sweet two vehicle package.
Cool what’d ya get now ?? Turns out he went for it because one was an all black parts Worlds car, both of them were clearly used but in very nice well taking care of condition and were definitely built to go racing. He tells me I’ll love the T and I’m buying from him sight unseen.
Naturally this was someone else’s build, but it turns out I absolutely love it exactly the way it is.
Only thing I’m looking to change on it are the tires.
As for the body I’m thinking I know what I want.

I hate dealing with early Airtronics stuff. I've screwed up some perfectly good stuff because of it.
This was a plug tag from an Airtronics set up I just recently worked with. Airtronics stuff wasn't compatible with Airtronics stuff.

I did receive a nice transmitter with it as well, I’ll dig it up and take some pics.

I know those two words ,race and grasshopper dont go together but i remember seeing some very hopped up grasshoppers back in the day.I cant find anything like that on the web but i thought it would be something cool to do to my shelf queen.

Bid got it for 66.00 plus shipn no protector film has some marks from sitn on things but barely see it in the light.Put all rpm green fasteners on it and shock spring holders,need the adjustment clamps in green to match up.DON

There should be a reversing switch on your transmitter, that will revers the signal for the throttle trigger.

The front tires are original 10T #7870's and they have a heavy spot. I've spun them on the wheel 180 degrees and results are the same so it's the tire. Was it common bitd to balance them?

I could really use some help with identification with this truck. It's obviously (unless I'm way off) a first gen RC10T. The problem I'm having is in the details. Look closely at the pics. RPM steering bellcranks, HPI cvd's, cabon fiber trans brace....

Not much travel on that suspension setup. You can pick up some standard shock towers and rear shocks for $40. Assuming those cvd's have 3/16 axles you could get some 2.2 ae wheels and trencher t's for $50.
