Marui Big Bear GRR alloy chassis project/resto

Have already made good progress on an alloy chassis for this one. Will post when completed.

Now that would be something different. I've always liked the Big Bear, and owned a mint example at one point. They're pretty fragile though unfortunately. Having an alloy chassis would be way cool, and might allow you to actually drive one.

...For sure. The original chassis is very flexible to the point where mine has a bow in it like a banana . This alloy chassis is solid!

Nice. I owned one for a number of years back when they first came out in the 80's. Use to have so much fun with that truck in the winter in my backyard. I've actually looked at them many times over the years on ebay and considered buying one to restore, but just haven't pulled he trigger yet. Look fwd to seeing what you end up doing on this.
