Your RC Display and Shelving Systems (as of Dec 2021)

Post by TokyoProf »

I'm always trying to find the best way to display my vintage beauty queens, and store my working projects. I have looked at options from IKEA, Shoe Stores, Museums (lol), and still looking. Please share your display and storage systems for RC buggies. Please share your systems (with images). It will give us all ideas. I really want to store my 10-20 valuable collection in a nice display.

So far:
Sneaker boxes are wonderful (but usually not long enough, or tall enough). But I love the single use, stackable, and clear, and openable (new word) option. Keeps dust out. However, they need an RC size to fit buggies with a standard wing attached. Easy to move around, stack, and display all at once.

IKEA options. Something is always missing for me when I look at them on display. Maybe your IKEA display example will prove me wrong.

I found the following shelving display as promising (in Japan). But the issue is that it is not deep or big enough. And, I wish I had one more level of shelves. I do like the mirror as background finish. This way you have a better view of everything on display.

Anyhow, interested in all of your display strategies! Here is the Japanese cabinet (but expensive)
