So when a XX showed up on a local auction site I waited patiently until the last 15 seonds and placed my bid. Won it at $90!
The Tekin charger was from the same seller and I got it for $10.
The motor was junk!
I tore the car down to pieces, inspected and cleaned everything.
Then I put it back together, made carbon braces for the gearbox and the front bulkhead.
The Hydra drive was refilled using Losi 7000 WT diff oil and the filling screws was put back in using Permatex blue silicone.
I have now driven the car 25 times and no leaks from the Hydradrive!
I found 2200 mAh 60C LiPo that I 3D printed a holder for it to fit in the battery tray.
Found a Trinity D3.5 15x3 motor to replace the dead Diamond motor. Kept the Novak Racer esc, fitted modern radio gear and it is now my runner on the track I built.
The picture of the track is from this spring. Now it´s more clay than grass.
