Anyone done one of these. My ultima re-re is far from stock was thinking about getting one of these to make it a mid.
Was wondering if the transmission internals from the rear motor transmission will fit in the ot255 gear box. Not sure what other parts will be needed to complete the conversion.
ult002m exodesign mid conversion kit
ot255 optima transmission case
otw137 optima mid rear shock tower
ot264 optima plate set
otb250 optima body set
????
Any suggestions
Thanks guys.

Think you just use all the parts from your ultima for the conversion.
Re: EXODESIGN KYOSHO ULTIMA MID CONVERSION KIT
The Optima Mid transmission can only share the diff gear from the Ultima. All the rest of the gears are optima mid only. Ive been eyeing this conversion; they could also have called it a 2wd conversion for the Optima Mid, . I mean, it looks like it uses more Optima Mid than Ultima components! Anyway, I’m on the verge of pulling the trigger on the conversion kit…it looks so slick!

Ok. I have a lot of the parts to do it just have to do it. Maybe if they still available after the holidays. I was able to get a rc10cc so my discretionary fund is depleted at the moment.
