All I have for rear towers for a 10b build is part number 7444. I cannot seem to find any differences to 9824. What’s up with that?

Most likely the addition of the holes in the shock tower valley and likely being made of a more plastic like material.
I was old school - when old school wasn't cool !

This one has the holes but I could see it being more glass fiber reinforced or carbon like. I would guess now looking again that is the “composite” part. I’ll know when I build it. I’m going to use it for the 10b. Thank you!

#7444 is the standard composite tower that came on T4's.
#7445 is the carbon tower that came on the FT T4's.
#9824 is the soft plastic tower that came on SC10's.
Kind of a Goldilocks, soft, medium, hard arrangement with the #9824 equal to RPM plastic, #7444 standard Associated plastic, then #7445 obviously the hardest. Color is different between them, #9824 is the darkest black, #7444 is a lighter black, #7445 is nearly grey. They also feel different, increasingly more "dry" with each step up in strength. Hole placement is the same across all three.

Didn’t they also change the mount points for the large bore shock caps to allow for more clearance.Dangeruss wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 4:20 am #7444 is the standard composite tower that came on T4's.

Nope... large bore models just came with slightly thicker upper bushings.
